Aquadon-Micro is an essentially new class of microelement fertilizers in the polymeric chelate form with a wide range of microelements which varies depending on the needs of cultivated agricultural plants. It is used in very small quantities, both at its basic application of fertilizers in soil, and for non-root feeding of plants during their vegetation period in the open or protected soil.

Modern agricultural production puts new tasks to the manufacturers of fertilizers which can be achieved only with the promotion of innovative products.
Such products are special water-based polymeric and physiologically balanced compound microelement fertilizers as Aquadon-Micro which demonstrate high agrochemical efficiency at cultivation of various cultures using intensive technologies.
Their successful application in drip irrigation (fertigation) and overhead irrigation (irrigation) systems, small-volume hydroponics at different substrates in protected and open ground for growing various cultures (vegetables, fruits, decorative trees, woods, berries, and flowers), and also for pre-sowing treatment of seeds and non-root leaf feeding of cultures makes it possible to obtain stable crop yield, improved quality of products, and a high profit of using this technology. It should be pointed out that application of these fertilizers prolongs the operation life of drip irrigation systems.

  • Increase in productivity and quality of agricultural crops;
  • Reduction of economic expenses, including savings in the cost of macro-fertilizers;

Basic difference from other microelement fertilizers:

Aquadon-Micro is a water-based high polymeric complex of long hydrocarbonic chains with the micro-elements fixed to them.
All micro-elements which are a part of the product are in a chelate form, and due to ionic/polymeric and coordination binds they are not oxidized, but are acquired by plants.

Because of such polymeric chains, fertilizer are maintained in leaves, root hairs and soil particles and have long influence on plants during different periods of their vegetation.

In the All-Russia Research Institute named after academician Vavilov for a number of years were carried out tests with a use of Aquadon-Micro which demonstrated that the ex-root feedings had been 1,5-2 times more efficient than the root feedings.
This effect was reached due to a high-polymer matrix which resulted in the prolonged effect of the fertilizer, as well as in the fast delivery of nutrients via their leaves to plants during critical periods of their development.

Application of Aquadon-Micro promotes an optimal mineral nutrition of plants, strengthens their grouth processes, increases the intensity of photosynthesis, and stimulates transfer of assimilated nutrient to most economically valuable parts of plants. All these, finally, result in the essential (up to 40 %) increase of yield and quality of products.

Technological Advantages:

  • Allows to reduce the quantity of macro-fertilizers without decreasing the yield and the quality of products;
  • Polymer matrix acting as a binder, provides the prolonged action of the fertilizer when the fertilizer is not washed out by water, resistant to solar exposure, maintains its efficiency in rainy and cloudy days, and also during irrigation.
  • Compatible with the majority of pesticides;
  • Suitable for application with any irrigation systems and drip watering, and does not form insoluble salts in pipelines and injectors even in hot climate conditions;

Field tests of fertilizers for potatoes Neva grade were carried out in ZAO Breeding Farm Agro-Balt in Kingiseppsky District of Leningrad Region. 50 % of NPK full dos + 5 l/h of Aquadon-Micro.
